Street Style Saturday: In Europe

Today's street style post includes some of the few photos I took of some people during my trip to Scotland and England
As I mentioned in this post, I didn't want to come off as an obnoxious American tourist so I wasn't ever able to summon the courage to go up to people to ask if I could take their picture. However I did get a few semi ok shots, And since I haven't been super diligent about getting some street style photos around here lately, I figured I might as well show you these!

.......................

And yes, that may or may not have been a shot of my friend Jackie I snuck in there...
But she's stylish, so it works right?

Hopefully I'll be bolder next time and able to get some better shots!

P.s. Happy September 1st!

Friday's Letters

Dear This Song,
You are never not my favorite.

Dear Charlottesville,
I loved visiting you tonight. Thanks for the splendid time.

Dear Fried Pickles (Not All Kinds, Just Some),
You're yummy.

Dear Lewis,
Thanks for (mostly) using your litter box. If you could just keep that up that'd be swell.

Dear Red Chanel Rain Jacket,
I wish you could have been mine.

Dear Fall,
Are you coming or not?

Dear New York City,
I really really miss you. It's getting worse and worse.

Dear August,
It was nice knowing ya. See you till next year!

Mary

Mary is one of my very dearest friends.
As cheesy as it is to say, she is one of the most beautiful people I know. Inside and out.
But seriously.
I love that we share a mutual love for Richmond. And for food. And for old pretty architecture. And for Jane Austen. And even for the 2003 Peter Pan.

We had a date recently and coffee shop hopped (GlobeHopper was one of our stops) and then wandered around the city. And I, of course, took lots of pictures.
I mean can you blame me?
The girl's gorgeous.

Such a goofball
I know this one's out of focus, but I still love it
Such a beauty

I love this girl so very much.
I feel so very blessed to have the friends that I do.

GlobeHopper

GlobeHopper is yet another wonderful hole-in-the-wall coffee shop we have here in Richmond.
I've been quite on the coffee house discovering/visiting escapade this month (remember Urban Farmhouse?) and I'm loving finally visiting these awesome places that have been here for ages but I've just never gotten around to visiting.
My friend and I went one afternoon and we got smoothies and a sandwich to split.
Let me tell you, it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. And I'm not a huge sandwich person, so that's sayin somethin. If they have "The Dutch" when you go. Get it. That's all I have to say.
Also their homemade pickles were amazing. I should have asked if I could buy a whole jar... I mean really.

I've actually already been back since my first visit and I can't wait to go again.
I just love discovering new favorite restaurants!

A Photoshoot

Today I wanted to share a fun photoshoot my friend Julie and I did with Meagan recently!
Meagan is very talented and I've been shooting some weddings with her this Summer which have been super fun and great learning experiences
We went to Main Street Station for this shoot and despite the rain and humidity making our perfectly curled hair go crazy, she managed to make us look pretty good. ;)

Enjoy the photos and be sure to check out her site!

Isn't Julie the cutest?
Seriously, I have the most adorable friends.

Dear Readers,
Gosh, I haven't done one of these in a while.

I am so super excited about selling some jewelry in your store!
(More detailed post coming soon)

Dear Tomorrow's Craft Show,
I wish I was ready for you.

Dear Everyone Who Loves Knit Stuff,
Check out the shop! I have a few knits in there now and will put up some more in the upcoming colder months. But Fall is practically here. You know you need a new hat and/or cowl and/or scarf!
I do custom orders as well, so if you see something but want it in a different color just email or message me!
(by.leney@gmail.com)

Dear Fall,
Hurry up.

Dear Everything Pumpkin Flavored,
Also hurry up.

Dear Chai Tea Lattes,
I'm glad I started drinking you again, even if that's not really weather appropriate.

Dear Costco,
If your machine could not be broken every time I take film to develop that would be super super awesome.

Dear Everyone,
I may or may not have listened to Justin Bieber's Christmas CD all the way through in the car the other day...
What?
I love Christmas.

Urban Farmhouse

Urban Farmhouse is one of several unique and fun coffee houses we have here in Richmond. I went for the first time last weekend and fell in love (I know I say that a lot, but really, it's true). It was the perfect after dinner spot to sit, have some cookies and soda and play dominoes. Not only that, but the cutest little band (who did a cover of a Marina & The Diamonds song! This instantly scores points with me...) was playing and the lead singer had the most beautiful voice. I really wish I had asked her if she had a website or something or what her name was at least!
Anyway, it's definitely a new favorite, if you have the chance to stop by you should.
